Recently I found a store that sells horse polo and stall wraps.
These work well for leg wraps and come in a variety of colors.
Some information on them.
The store in Michigan is called Northville Saddlery, located on Northville rd. between 7 and 8 mile roads on the west side of the street. Sneaks up on you so watch for it.
There is a difference between polo wraps and stall or standing wraps.
Stall wraps are thinner like ace bandages. They have a woven look like linen. Polo wraps are thicker and look more like wool. The polos tend to stay up a little better because they are rather self adhereing.
I found the 9 foot ones are good.
Be careful on the color you get. I saw some that would work for us in this venue. Burgandy, hunter green royal blue, purple, gold, brown, grey, and stone. Grey was a light grey and stone was the color of a grey crayon.
She has a catalog and can get whatever color you wish within 5 days.
I bought one gold pack of standing for summer and my personal fighting kit and one burgandy pack of polo for my Outremer kit and winter.
In doing research, mainly 12th century, the peasantry would wear leg wraps. Upper class people would wear chausses. For battle wraps would work for protection.
I do hope this helps.
