- We adhere to the
rules of the SCA
when it comes to armor standards and those of the Midrealm. This page does not deviate
from those standards but only adds ideas for flourish and style to your over all
kit.

in reality, whatever you can afford to buy, make or borrow. time period
in the end doesn't really matter as much as you getting in armor and
fighting out on the field.
A period helm is preferred. Round top, spangen, norman,
kettle, faceplated pregreathelm etc. if not please attempt
to hide or alter the cosmetics of later period helms with
drapings.
5. Don'ts
Don't
show off metal elbows or knee cops. Keep gauntlets dark to
not attract attention. Keep the colors and cross consistent.
Consider a period shield. Greaves allowed if semi
period-ish. Keep it cheap and simple and get out there to
enjoy the fun!!! |
